Shih Tzu Training

Tame Dog Training has extensive experience safely handling and successfully training Shih Tzu dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and aggression levels.

Serving Shih Tzus in the DFW Metroplex, Tame Dog Training provides extensive board and train programs to teach dogs over the age of eight months obedience and boundaries. If you live in Plano, Dallas, Allen, McKinney, or the surrounding areas, bring your Shih Tzu in to learn how to sit until called, stay calm in exciting situations, and walk calmly on a loose leash. We teach dogs in a safe environment with the utmost respect to improve the overall health and well-being of your dog.

The basic on-leash program is a one week board and train program for Shih Tzus who struggle with obeying and need established boundaries. You will receive a mini core equipment package, full conditioning to a prong collar, three education sessions with you, the owner, and over 30 hours of hands-on dog training as well as 24/7 care and provision by our expert trainers.

We also offer an advanced, two-week program designed for Shih Tzus who need unwanted social behaviors removed. During their stay, your dog will have 24/7 care and provision, over 60 hours of hands-on dog training, four education sessions with you, the owner, and full conditioning to a prong collar and a wireless collar. You will also receive a core equipment package.

At the end of your program, your Shih Tzu should be calm in distracting situations, walk on a loose leash, obey your commands, and be cool and collected. You can then enjoy your dog and save yourself both time and energy.
