Great Pyrenees
Tame Dog Training has extensive experience safely handling and successfully training Great Pyrenees of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and aggression levels.
Serving Great Pyrenees in the DFW Metroplex, Tame Dog Training provides extensive dog training camps to teach dogs obedience and boundaries. If you live in Plano, Dallas, Allen, McKinney, or the surrounding areas, bring your Pyrenees in to learn how to sit until called, stay calm in exciting situations, and walk calmly on a loose leash.
At Tame Dog Training, we help tame and aggressive dogs over the age of six months old learn taming techniques using a reward and correction system customized to each dog’s needs. We know that Great Pyrenees are loving animals that desire a relationship with their owner. During board and training, we teach dogs in a safe environment with the utmost respect to improve the overall health and well-being of your Pyrenees.
Working with both tame and aggressive dogs, we help establish obedience and boundaries. Our dog trainers work with Great Pyrenees in three unique programs.
The basic on-leash training camp is a one-week program designed to train dogs with full conditioning to a prong collar. During their stay, your Great Pyrenees will receive 24/7 care and provision, over 30 hours of hands-on dog training, removal of unwanted social behaviors, three education sessions with you, and more.
For off-leash training, we work with Great Pyrenees through our advanced training camp. This four-week board and train program includes over 60 hours of hands-on dog training, removal of unwanted social behaviors, 24/7 care and provision, full conditioning to a prong collar and wireless collar, and four education sessions with you to ensure new communication with your dog.
For Great Pyrenees that require extensive training, we offer the premier off-leash training camp. This four-week board and train program is designed to remove unwanted social behaviors. This program includes 24/7 care and provision, over 90 hours of hands-on dog training, high-level distraction proofing, four education sessions, and one check-up session that can be used anytime.
Training camp and obedience classes are designed so that you and your dog can have a healthy relationship. Great Pyrenees that go through our programs should be relaxed when walking next to or behind you on a loose leash, return when called, and be able to calmly sit or lay down, regardless of distractions.
